BARB B. 50th BIRTHDAY TAG BOOK
THEME: OH BABY! Vintage Babies and Children – Ideas: Childhood milestones like babies with birthday cake and/or hats, learning to ride a bike, first dollies or bears, learning to walk, first day of school or whatever your imagination comes up with! Please incorporate your number (to be assigned) onto the front of your tag.
COLORS: White (All shades including sepia) w/ accent color(s) of your choice.
SIZE: Large Shipping Tags Aprox. 4 ¾ x 2 3/8 inches in size – Does NOT need to be exact! Just basically that size with the hole at the top!
EMBELLISHMENTS: Because this is going to be a big book, embellishments on the face of the tags should be somewhat flat (cool old buttons instead of say, marbles!). However, feel free to add as much stuff hanging off of the bottom as you wish! Barb really loves old lace and tatting! ALSO: These tags can be paper, mixed media or fabric. Whatever you choose!
DUE DATE: These should be in my hands (address below) by APRIL 19th. Barb’s birthday is MAY 5th, so this will give me time to get them put together, packaged nicely and mailed to arrive on time! This also gives you plenty of time to create and mail them to me! J
OTHER: Please decorate the back of your tag to match the front and add a picture of yourself as a baby or child (or acting like one!) along with your information. Please also send along a length of fiber/yarn that matches your page to be tied on the ring that will bind these together.
